Every effort has been made to make the workshops a safe and enjoyable environment.
As this is an educational/training event rather than a social one, and is being held in a covid-secure venue, it is exempt from the latest government ‘rule of six’.

We all have a duty to look after each other, so if you are not feeling well or are self-isolating please do not attend. I am afraid I will not be able to offer a refund under these circumstances. If I am not well or am isolating I will cancel the course and will offer you a full refund. Should government regulations change and the course is cancelled, you will receive a full refund or can transfer to another course.

You are not expected to wear a mask when sitting and working during the workshop, though if you wish to please do. The workstations face out to the window, so you will not be sitting facing someone. When moving around (arriving, collecting water etc), please wear a mask. I will wear a mask or clear face visor (if I know anyone has hearing issues), while moving around and I have a laser pointer so I can indicate areas on your work without getting too close. Far better than a long stick, as I might poke you with that!!

The workshop has been fully refurbished during shutdown:
  • Walls have come down to ensure better lighting.

  • The workstations have been spaced to help with distancing

  • A tv systems has been installed to allow demonstrations to be seen easily

  • A new floor has been laid to facilitate cleaning

  • A fogging machine is used between courses to ensure deep disinfection. If this is broken (the first blew up!), the workshop is thoroughly cleaned between events.

Hand gel will be provided and I would ask you to wash your hands upon arrival and departure, and at regular intervals during the day. You will all have your own materials to use and I will keep sharing of equipment to a minimum. I have purchased additional hair dryers, though there will not be one each and will laminate reference materials so that they can be wiped.

Please bring your own lunch, mug and hand gel. Coffee and tea are provided, though if you are concerned you may, of course, bring your own refreshments.

If at any point you are concerned about measures please tell me immediately so that I can put things right. I want this to be a relaxed, enjoyable and safe day for all.

Please note that my usual cancellation policy is in place.
