Pet portraits

Dogs, cats, rabbits - 17 April is the day to try and capture your pet in loose and colourful watercolour.
First we will explore eyes, noses and ears and look at ways to capture texture. We will see what to do about black animals - they are notoriously tricky to paint in watercolour. We will explore the character of the animal and then you will have the chance to work on your own subject matter. I will give you some tips on which poses work best when you are taking a photo too.

The course will be held in a rural location in Hurst, Berkshire, to provide you with an inspiring and relaxing environment. All materials are provided, along with refreshments and a light lunch. No experience is needed to fully enjoy the day. If you alreay love painting in watercolours you will be provided with plenty of stimulation! Liz will let everyone go at their own pace to get the most out of the day.
